Nature sound playlists are popular for relaxation, but they contrast with the record levels of deforestation in the Amazon. In response, we created the Unrelaxing Playlist for WWF-Brazil. In this playlist, nature sounds disappear at the same rate as deforestation increases (1% per month), highlighting the threat to Amazonian wildlife. The tracks feature the names and sounds of animals at risk of extinction, and each play generates a donation to support the environmental cause.
